About the Summit

The Chicago International Summit on Education 2027 brings together educators, researchers, administrators, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world to explore innovative solutions to today's most pressing educational challenges.

Centered on the theme, "Navigating Educational Transitions: Building Resilient and Future-Ready Learning Systems," the Summit provides a platform for sharing research, best practices, and transformative ideas that support learner success across educational pathways—from PreK–12 and higher education to workforce development and lifelong learning.

Through scholarly presentations, best-practice sessions, and interactive workshops, participants will engage in meaningful dialogue on the future of education and the strategies needed to prepare learners, institutions, and communities for a rapidly changing world.

Call for Submissions

The Summit welcomes proposals in the following categories:

Research Papers

Presentations highlighting empirical research, theoretical analyses, case studies, or emerging scholarship related to educational innovation, leadership, policy, and practice.

Best Practice Presentations

Sessions showcasing effective programs, instructional approaches, institutional initiatives, or interventions that have demonstrated positive outcomes for learners and educational organizations.

Workshops

Interactive sessions designed to engage participants through hands-on learning, skill development, collaboration, and practical problem-solving.

All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review conducted by the Summit's Editorial Board.
