Important Deadlines
Abstract Submission
Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. To receive priority consideration, authors are encouraged to submit their abstracts by December 30, 2026. As presentation opportunities are limited, early submission is encouraged.
Notification of Acceptance
Authors will generally be notified of the outcome of their submission within two weeks of submission.
Research abstracts undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by members of the Summit's Review Board and are evaluated according to the published Scoring Rubric.
Workshop and best-practice/nonresearch submissions are reviewed separately by the Organizing Committee and are considered on a limited basis based on relevance, potential value to conference participants, program needs, and presentation availability.
Presenter Registration Deadline
Accepted presenters must complete conference registration by February 28, 2027, to confirm their participation and secure their placement in the conference program. Presentations for which registration is not completed by the deadline may be removed from the program.

A special registration rate is available to currently enrolled graduate students. To receive the graduate student rate, please contact info@chicagosummit.org to request a graduate student registration discount code before completing your registration.
Graduate student registration options are not displayed separately in the general payment portal. Once eligibility is confirmed, you will receive a discount code and instructions for completing your registration at the applicable graduate student rate.
Please do not complete your registration at the regular rate if you intend to request the graduate student discount.

An official Conference Letter of Invitation confirming acceptance to present at the Chicago International Summit on Education

The opportunity to develop their research for possible submission to Future Review, an academic journal affiliated with the Chicago International Summit on Education
Submission to Future Review is optional and separate from acceptance to present at the Summit. Conference acceptance does not guarantee journal publication. Manuscripts submitted to the journal are subject to the journal's submission requirements, editorial review, and independent peer-review process.
Cancellation / Refund Policy

Registrations canceled more than 60 days before the event will be refunded 100% of the registration fees.

Registrations canceled more than 30 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fees.

Registrations canceled less than 30 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
