Advancing educational research through rigorous, thoughtful, and independent peer review.
The Chicago International Summit on Education Review Board supports the scholarly quality and integrity of the Summit's research program. Board members contribute their academic and professional expertise to the evaluation of research abstracts submitted for presentation.
Research abstracts undergo a double-blind peer-review process and are independently evaluated by at least two reviewers according to the Summit's published Scoring Rubric. Reviewers consider the relevance, importance and contribution, research purpose, methodology, findings, significance, and overall scholarly quality of each submission.
Best-practice and workshop proposals are reviewed separately by the Organizing Committee and do not undergo the formal research peer-review process.
