Biography
Randa Mahasneh is a Professor of Educational Psychology whose work focuses on learning and instruction. Her research interests include self-regulated learning, reading for pleasure, service learning, medical education, and women’s empowerment. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Simon Fraser University in Canada.
Dr. Mahasneh has held several academic leadership roles, including Associate Dean for Academic Development and International Outreach and Head of the Department of Educational Psychology (2009–2012). She served as a faculty member at Hashemite University in Jordan (2006–2014) and Qatar University (2014–2021).
She has an extensive record of publications, conference presentations, and international collaborations. In addition, she has secured and successfully managed several research and capacity-building grants, including:
