Born with bilateral hearing loss, Isaiah has defied expectations by transforming personal challenges into powerful solutions. He created a prototype for a haptic watch designed to support individuals who are hard of hearing and deaf, demonstrating both technical skill and empathy-driven innovation. He is also the founder of the nonprofit Quantum Visionary Foundation Incorporated, an organization dedicated to empowering youth through innovation, education, and access to STEM opportunities. His academic and professional promise is reflected in his induction into the National Society of Future Medical Professionals, his selection as a member of the University of Chicago’s Youth Advisory Council, his distinction as the first youth inducted into Northwest Indiana’s Top 20 Under 40, and his acceptance into MIT’s IDEA2 2026 Cohort. Isaiah aspires to study biomedical engineering and is driven by a vision to design medical devices that support physicians and improve patient care.
